Robert Frank
You have come to this portion of the website because you are possibly a client or prospective client searching for background information about me or others in the firm. As to myself, before getting into the litany of where I went to school and my legal background, I want to first tell you something a little more personal.

I spent over 31 years of my career with Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, a major downtown Houston law firm. I started there before I graduated law school when there were less than 10 lawyers and when I left the firm’s attorney count exceeded 120. At the end of my time there, I had all the trappings of accomplishment – corner office, senior partner, head of the estate section, member of the management committee. So why would I, in 2006, with such comfortable surroundings, decide to launch my own ship? If I have been asked this question once, I have been asked it hundreds of times.

Obviously, there are a number of reasons that motivated my leaving – too numerous (and boring) to go into here, but one of the driving forces was my desire to take care of my clients in the same way that I would expect to be treated. I want my clients to know that I care about them and their personal situations. I want to develop relationships with those clients I choose to represent so that I know them as people and not just another file number. I want to serve my clients with the efficiencies that technology offers so they feel they have received absolute value for my legal services. While many of the above factors should be commonplace in an attorney-client relationship, I have actually discovered that they are many times unique. In addition, without the responsibilities and oversight inherent in the management of a large firm, I have significantly more time to focus on my clients.

If you like, now you can learn the professional details that I assume you came here to see. If one of these items causes you to retain me, that’s great – but know that you are getting more than just a credentialed lawyer when you hire the firm – you are getting the absolute commitment from our entire firm to provide excellence while helping you achieve your goals.

From my earliest memories, I have always been extremely organized, responsible and hard working. I have always welcomed challenges. These traits have benefited me in my career as a paralegal. The first twenty years I spent working at Chamberlain, Hrdlicka in the Estates and Trusts Section for several shareholders. During my time at Chamberlain, I found working with Bob and his clients extremely challenging and rewarding. As a result, our work habits became so in sync that it was scary. When Bob asked me to join him as he established a new firm, I felt that it was an opportunity that I could not pass up.

To work with only one attorney has permitted me to have more of a directed focus. I am very proud of the service we provide our clients as a result of our productivity, efficiency and quality. In the end, I find it extremely satisfying to ascribe to the firm’s objective of delivering the highest quality work for people we care about.

After graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in Communications, I, like many graduates, was not sure exactly which direction I wanted to take for my post-graduate career. As an interim measure, I started working for the Chamberlain Hrdlicka law firm in the Estates and Trusts Section. It was that experience that ultimately led to my being part of the initial group which formed Frank Law Firm.

I have always felt that to be satisfied, I would need to work for an organization which I had pride in and that the work that was done was of the highest level. Over the many years I have worked with Bob, it is obvious to me  that his relationship with his clients is undoubtedly his first priority. He has instilled that quality in all of us that work at the firm.
